Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

Oh man. Ouch. Icehouse is... over this week.

"Wassup baby, wanna see my title belt?"

Ho shit. WEEKEND.

BOUT. FUCKING. TIME. So let's just get down to it.

First of all, this video combines three things Icehouse likes: Skiing, Manu Chao, and pain.

Miles Breaks His Face from UnofficialNetworks.com on Vimeo.

In the words of Lattimer: PPGF

Here we have a crazy downhill mountain bike course in Brazil, and the inevitable epic crash. That's a whole lot of damage done to his bike.

Hypnosis, breakdancing, fat guy striptease, and a double off-the-top-turnbuckle finisher. It's perfect.

More wrasslin'? You bet. Believe it or not, Icehouse has actually been to this very arena.

You gotta do something to entertain yourselves when you live in Kansas. Make the most of it Jayhawks. How's that home winning streak going? HARHARHARHARHAR.

Good work everybody. Now go get your swag on.

Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

WOO! Kevin Love is awesome and Snoop is a sell out Steelers fan.

Yes. YES. Tomorrow is the first day I'll be able to sleep in since Sunday, January 16. So you know. We gon drank.

Kevin Love wants that All-Star bid so bad, he'll go viral for it. He also deserves it, but All-Star voting is retarded, and just looking at the numbers is enough to make your head explode.

I thought about posting this picture, and leaving it as the only thing for the fun bag. Because completely out of context, it's nothing short of phenomenal.

POVs are always fun.

Zack Follett is delightfully insane. Everything seems to be going well, right up until Satan shows up. Don't trip off that lust spot.

Repeat, Zack Follett is delightfully insane. This time with actual Lions!

Mike Modano's day goes from bad to worse. Just watch until the end.

And now we have the latest installation of Lattimer's favorite meme: Guile Theme Goes With Everything.

The greatest athletic tournament that exists is this weekend. That's right, the Royal Rumble.

And finally, for your reference, who has all the sweet seats at the Staples Center for Lakers games.

Which reminds me, what kind of dog food do you think the hospitality folks provide for Khloe Kardashian?

Pro Wrasslin' Day

Yesterday, several of the GRH braintrust engaged in the time-honored tradition of youtubing old professional wrestling clips. It was one of the best days I've had in a while. Now, presented with minimal commentary, some of our favorites.

First up, the Ultimate Warrior freaks out. Cocaine and steroids are pretty much what makes sports entertainment great.

Now we have Ric Flair. I yell stuff like this to myself every morning. Because I'm the champ.

Everybody remembers where they were this night. I would like to draw attention to the Diesel and Razor Ramon's signature hand to the ear move, the guy trying to get into the ring, and the sheer amount of garbage that ends up filling the ring.

Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell were less wrestlers, and more just two dudes who got paid to work out and act like meat sticks. I loved them.

Sports entertainment will most likely never - AND THE ROCK MEANS NEVER - have a personality that can involve the fans like The Rock.

Again... cocaine and steroids.

This was epic.

Finally, I present this complete and utter insanity.

Have fun, everybody. I know I did.

Television: Teacher, Mother, Secret Lover

TV is great.

I was going to write something else. I actually had it all lined up and everything. But then my TV attacked. Seriously, this was out of control.

First of all, the Rangers played the Tigers. Two pretty even teams kicking ass was pretty fun. This had all the funny shit deserving of a Rangers game. A Granderson lead-off home run started the wackiness. Nelson Cruz and Michael Young ended up jacking a couple dingers for the Rangers to take the lead at home, though. Three points of interest. 1) A guy caught a foul ball in his left hand while holding a baby in his right hand. Child endangerment rules. 2) The cast of "Legally Blonde: The Musical" where there. Because when there's 162 games, you're going to have to watch some stupid shit from time to time. 3) The announcer introduced Fu-Te Ni as Fu-Te "the knight that says" Ni. That was pretty funny.

Moving on.

The T.O. show. I guess somebody asked, "how can we make this guy less appealing." The answer is hire to bitchy PR folks, a flatulant sidekick, and pay the $25 it takes to put something on VH1. Fuck me this is terrible. You know the world is a horrible place when other people make Terrell Owens look grounded. Sheeeit.

And then there's Futurama. I wish I watched this show more when it was actually on. Tonight was one of the phenomenal sports-related episodes. With Bob Uecker as a guest star, Leela becomes a star of Blurnsball. In typical Futurama fashion, absolutely nothing makes sense (least of all the character of Hank Aaron XXX). The main point is the very end, which is basically the funniest home run of all time.

And now for the real inspiration for this post. Shaquille O'Neal is on WWE Raw. DIDYOUJUSTREADTHATSHIT?! Yeah. It's fucking great. Jerry Lawler just said, "Boomshakalaka." A couple of things I learned tonight. First, The Big Show still sucks. However, he's teamed with Chris Jericho, who is still the funniest character. Second, there are a LOT of Chris Cooley jerseys in the crowd in D.C. Third, that one dude from the Real World a couple years back, that called himself "The Miz" is now a wrestler. He comes out with a faux-hawk, talks shit to the Wizards fans in the house, and then yells, "I'M AWESOME." Gotta admit. That's pretty funny.

So anyways, love your TV. Give it a kiss.

Memphis Grizzlies call Ricky Rubio, breathe heavily, and hang up

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Seeking Barcelona's prized NBA recruit, but not wanting to sound too desperate, the front office of the Memphis Grizzlies called Ricky Rubio of Spain's personal number to initiate a courtship with the young star, but quickly hung up the phone after being unable to stammer out anything intelligible.

"I mean, I just freakin' froze guys!" said a somewhat giddy GM Chris Wallace. "He answered the phone and I completely blanked!"

The Grizzlies management, which has been having draft day meetings and slumber parties since the playoffs began, believe that Rubio might be the answer to all of their collective prayers.

"He looks JUST like Adrian Brody! Sometimes Zac Efron," said head coach Lionel Hollins. "Only he got a silver in the Olympics and averages 3.3 rebotes per match!"

"Our back up plan was Stephen Curry, but he's a total wannabe and will do whatever Ricky does," said Wallace, while listening to Millennium from the Backstreet Boys.

"Hasheem Thabeet was really sweet when he called to tell us that he won't be coming to Memphis to work out for us, due to his sore shoulder. Maybe there's something there if we end up on the rebound," said Hollins, and then giggled to other management heads about the basketball pun.

Wallace said the biggest concern was whether or not he wanted to subject himself to heartache from another spaniard again, citing the infamous break-up for the Grizzlies and Pau Gasol, which ended in a closed door meeting in which Pau said he'd found someone else and Wallace threw a trapper keeper at Gasol's head.

Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

Fucking right. This has been a big week. Baseball season returned, much to the delight of Ryan Howard's liver. We cut down the internets, and the Masters returned to show the surrounding neighborhoods of Augusta, Georgia what a Klan rally's demographics are.

Awesome.

So Zack is currently imprisoned in what I like to call, "Rewrite hell," and Lattimer has taken to the woods for his annual steel cage deathmatch between him and his two most hated rivals: a snake and a bobcat.

So here I am, and here we go.

First, the annual automakers convention has produced some serious wienermobiles. Oh well. As long as people can still do this, it'll be alright. No, they won't let me embed this, sorry.

Aries Spears is funny and good at doing impressions. That's all you really need to know.

So I haven't watched wrasslin' in a while, but I really wished that I had known Wrestlemania was going on when I was in Houston last weekend. But then, I found out that WWE is now nothing but wanksters battling each other. Wack.

Naturally, the No Fun League punishes people for fun, but some enterprising fellow took it upon themselves to record Sportscenter's top ten touchdown celebrations. Remember the good old days? When you could have fun playing football?

If you don't know about Team Flight Brothers, then that means you haven't seen the best sports YouTube video of 2007. Well, it's true.

Yes. Sweet. Easter means candy.
