Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

Stephen Gerrard here. I like to play footy. I also like to get blackout drunk and punch people. But look at me face! So pretty! I'll never walk alone!

Ok fine. WOO. Short week! It's all over! We are now barreling face-first into summer sweetness.

Let's get to it.

First and foremost, Nike put out this ad that debuted last night on the finals. Andre 3000 remakes the Beatles. Kobe haters, your shoe is Adidas. Enjoy.

Say Queensbridge!

I am woefully unimpressed by this Japanese screaming contest.

His name is Evan. He's a teen werewolf.

It's a good thing this video has been on every single web site this week, because I could watch it over and over again.

It's odd. I hate both of these bands, but this mash-up is awesome.

Lattimer and I have already ordered this video, and will be ready for NBA training camp in the fall.

Ok. Fucking right. Good shit, everybody. See you out there.

Nike Futbol and the World Cup

We knew that Nike Football was going to bring the pain in commercial form for the World Cup. I had seen tidbits earlier, and today got treated to the video above.

It's good It's no Take It To The Next Level or Freestyle, but what is? I personally love Rooney with the beard. He should rock that. Also, they couldn't get a Brazilian besides Ronaldinho? You know, a Brazilian that's actually playing in the World Cup?

Thoughts? Likes? Dislikes? Comments section.

Good Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

For the end of holy week, we have the most Jesus'd-out future NFL benchwarmer and several of his... disciples.

First up we have a drunken brawl in Whataburger. Narrated by some H-town rappers. Sweet.

Next up, one of the greatest sports movies ever, RAD, has an epic ending scene. So here it is the Helltrack scene, set to a new song by Cut/Copy. Pretty trippy and sweet.

Everyone's favorite Super Bowl commercial combined with one of my favorite players in the league. You win, Mavs. You win.

Now, what is sure to be every Hobber's first selection the next time we do the athletes in movies thing.

And because I just saw Terry Crews in that clip, we have Cheeseburger Eddie himself doing yet another awesome Old Spice commercial.

Sweet. Happy Easter, y'all.

Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

Good Evening, would you like to join our party?

DA!

WOOOOO! Not my vydas, not your vydas, but Arvydas. Now it's a muhfuckin shindig.

Ok, so due to this video obliterating the internets this week, we're going to have an all music video fun bag. Gonna be fun.

First up, sumo wrasslin. Their fat. It's hypnotizing.

Sorry about that. To make up for it, here's some sexy.

Of course, there's onetime New Orleans Hornet preseason squad member, Percy Miller. Who is gay and won't let me embed his video.

Furthermore, what the fuck does Hootie and the Blowfish have to lose by me embedding this video? Huh?

Danica Patrick and Dale Jr. in a rap video is just absurd enough to be awesome.

Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan. Need I say more?

And to really get things rocking, here's the Dallas Cowboys' Marc Colombo and Leonard Davis and Justin Chapman in Free Reign.

\m/ RAWK! \m/

OK! I'm READY FOR THE WEEKEND. FUCKING FINALLY!

LeBron makes New Yorkers wet while destroying their dreams.

OMG! FUNK!

Look at Bron's face after the funk. He just thinks it's funny. I mean, it wasn't like there was any sort of defense on him. It wasn't in traffic. And the clutch? I mean, that's alright and all, but it's nothing like Vince Carter's fabled windmill-oop.

I'm just kidding. That oop was absurd.

On the whole LeBron-to-New York thing. Does anybody really believe that this is going to go through? LeBron is allowed to do anything he wants in Cleveland. Absolutely anything. He is deified on a nightly basis there, even when the NBA isn't in season. New York is the opposite of that. The constant media blitz turns even the most carefree of superstars into cynical assholes.

After burning down their roster for the insurance money time and again, it seems to be all for naught. Good luck with the draft, Knicks fans. It's probably your best bet at landing a superstar.

Round Rock Express fans show their patriotism

The fans of Houston Astros AAA affiliate, the Round Rock Express (named for their owner, Nolan Ryan) held open tryouts for our proudest tradition: singing our National Anthem before the first pitch of a baseball game.

I've never aspired to sing the Star-Spangled Banner, as I feel I would not do it justice. On the other hand, my lifelong dream has always been to celebrate our second-proudest tradition, which is to say, "This presentation may not be rebroadcast without express written consent from Major League Baseball."

To continue with our veritable retching of posts, I give you an old school clip. Mike Tyson is here, joking around with Daryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden.

An odd picture, to say the least. Well, odd now. Back then it was three athletes at their peak. But then the fall began. Oh, how they fell. Tyson beat the crap out of Robin Givens, spent some time in jail, bit some guy's ear off, got a face tat, and now is just a fat, inarticulate shell of a man who trades off of our society's love of self-mocking celebrity cameos.

Strawberry and Gooden on the other hand? They're just your average recovering cocaine addicts. Well, average in the sense that Gooden seems to be doing alright, but Strawberry is in and out of jail/rehab, and has a son who played a season for the Suns.

So yeah. Go nuts.

"I'm gonna eat your children, and put Strawberries on top of them. You know, for the irony."

Orange Juice Mayonnaise does us all a favor by kneecapping Andre Miller once and for all.

The Grizz set a franchise record for most consecutive home wins. Don Delaware was in the house to see it. Maybe he'll provide insight, sprinkled with his stories of hobnobbing with Mike "Just another wasted draft pick" Conley Jr.

Comment your asses off.

"PEW PEW PEW"

or...

The Mavericks team-building exercise revealed what everybody already knew: That Dirk is not gangster.

or...

Dirk trains to avenge Mark Cuban being thrown through a picnic table. Nobody has told him that WWE is staged.

These sucked. Dirk is a wiener. Please make me proud with better captions.

Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

AND FORNICATE YOU WHILE YOU'RE AT IT.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I've just been a little stressed. Hence the absurd lack of posting. Anyways. Let's party.

Here's a six-year-old snowboarding. In the next week or so, pretty much every hill in America will be open.

SHEED IS TRUTH! TRUTH IS SHEED! THE BALL DON'T LIE!

Texas traffic stops are really this fun. I still can't walk right from the last one.

I don't really know what's going on, but hopefully it'll be something like this.

This is a week old, but OMG! Funk! If I could find Avery Bradley's yam from last night, I would post that one. Maybe tomorrow.

Ok. Fuck this. I'm out.

Romo: GOOOOOOOOO

or...

Romo: "Have you seen my football?"

or...

Romo: "No, stop. Don't. Don't push me into the pool, it's cold and I've got clothes on! DON'T! NOOOOO!"

Look, I know we haven't been on this much, but we've got real shit that needs attending to. Anyways, let's have fun.

Monday Morning Sh*t Storm

Lattimer is away working on stuff. I just got to work after being in Memphis all weekend. We're a little worn out, so bear with us.

Today's shit storm is simple. Take a sport that is not inside the collective conscience of mainstream America that you would like to see in that realm. Mine is simple. Surfing.

Shit yeah.

F*ck off, we're busy

It's on now, motherfuckers.

So, we may have a new writer coming, who could possibly keep a D1 basketball player's views on life.

No fun bag today, y'all. We're busy. Busy partying. Normally we wait til the end of the day to party. Not today. Today we party now.

Friday Afternoon Fun Bag!

Woo! Hangin with the OKC Thunder! We fittin to partay!

Yes. UT-OU weekend up in this bitch. It's time to get down.

OU fans never cease to amaze. Seriously.

I like "The Funeral" by Band of Horses. I really, really, really like cool bike stunts. Basically, this video is the best thing I saw on the internet all week.

John Travolta can sell anything in Japan.

So can Brad Pitt.

This is kind of long, but wingsuit flying must be orgasmic.
"Do you think anyone in the world had as much fun today as we did?"
"Nope."

Watch CBS News Videos Online

And Adidas has set the bar for shoe commercials this season. Your move, Nike and Jordan Brand (they're going to win, but you know).

Well, I'm pumped. If you're not, get out of the way. I'm ready to get down to business. If I get a felony assault tomorrow, it's someone else's fault.
